Product Information
Dailies Total1 Multifocal by Alcon are multifocal contact lenses for presbyopia, available as daily disposables. No cleaning or storage needed. Put in a fresh pair each morning and discard at night. Simple for everyday wear, travel, and long hours on screens.
Features & Benefits
Dailies Total1 Multifocal uses Alcon’s Precision Profile® Design to keep vision clear at near, intermediate, and distance. The breathable silicone hydrogel (delefilcon A) supports high oxygen flow for comfortable wear, and a light handling tint makes insertion and removal easier. Replace with a fresh pair each day.
Do Dailies Total1 Multifocal Lenses Have UV Protection?
No. Dailies Total1 Multifocal does not include built-in UV protection, so plan to wear UV400 sunglasses outdoors for eye coverage. If you’re looking for UV-blocking contacts, the Dailies Total1 for Astigmatism variant lists Class 1 UV absorption and about 33% blue-violet light filtering, but contacts don’t cover the whole eye, so sunglasses are still recommended.
What Are Water Gradient Technology and Smartears Technology?

Dailies Total1 Multifocal contacts provide long-lasting comfort, thanks to Water Gradient Technology. This unique technology creates a cushion of moisture on the eye by increasing water content near the lens surface. The result is a contact lens that’s so comfortable you’ll forget you’re wearing it.
On top of that, Dailies Total1 Multifocal contacts feature Alcon’s proprietary SmarTears Technology. This technology creates an ultra-thin protective layer to help shield the lenses from deposits, which can negatively affect the quality of vision. SmarTears Technology also helps keep the lens surface hydrated to ensure long-lasting comfort.

Dailies Total 1 Multifocal Reviews
Comfortable as long as they ship well
I like these lenses except that roughly 25% of the lenses are curled up inside of the container. When that happens it often creates 2 creases on the edge and can make the lens very uncomfortable. Aside from that I love these lenses.
I can see clearly now!
After trying bifocal contacts years ago I was sceptical about the multifocal sample lenses my doctor provided. But what a surprise! They were perfect immediately. I love them. I can read some small print without wearing my readers which I have not been able to do for years.
Soft lenses blends correction and reading
I didn’t think it was possible to have contacts that I could use with both correction and reading. The prescription can’t do both optimally, though. I selected ones that closely matched my correction and a milder reading 1.25 or lows. What this does is allow me to see in 95% of daily activities. I still have trouble with super tiny writing on transparent bottles and writing on shiny material or shiny lettering. However, being active (sunglasses over them), general work, computer, small writing, I can see well. So much nicer than keeping track of glasses and/or rx sunglasses. Also, the contacts are thin and comfortable since they are daily wear and the solution it comes in does not make my eyes red or itchy as in all contacts I had tried in the past.
