Product Information

Bausch & Lomb’s Boston II is a custom-made hard contact lens suited for daily wear and a broad range of vision correction needs. It’s often recommended for individuals who require specialized designs or haven’t achieved optimal results with soft lenses. With its stable design, Boston II supports consistent, reliable vision for those with higher visual demands.

Features & Benefits

Boston II contact lenses by Bausch & Lomb are rigid gas-permeable contact lenses made from itafocon A, a silicone acrylate material known for its excellent clarity and resistance to lipid deposits. These lenses maintain their shape on the eye, helping reduce visual distortions during blinking or movement and supporting stable, consistent vision throughout the day.

Their smooth surface and breathable design allow oxygen to reach the eye while minimizing buildup that can lead to discomfort. Boston II lenses are custom-made, making them a strong choice for those with more complex visual correction needs.

Do Boston II Lenses Have UV Protection?

Boston II contact lenses can be made with an optional UV-blocking additive, but this feature is not included by default. If UV protection is important to you, it’s best to ask your eye care provider to prescribe the version with the UV-absorbing material. To help protect the parts of your eyes not covered by the lens, wearing UV-blocking sunglasses is still recommended.

Customer service, Accurate, fast delivery...

The customer service was above and beyond. I was terrified ordering contacts online and had bad experiences with the optometrist in the office. But, I took the chance and called Lens.com, and was assisted with the poorly written script given by the optometrists, and every question I asked was answered. My lens arrived on time and were perfect in every way. Finally, the best part is the value for the price was outstanding! I will be back...

Error of dot on lens

It would have been helpful to have the identifying dot on the right lens. It’s hard to get used to it that it is now on the left lens. I suppose that was an error.
